I’m learning how to model engineering parts. First started with Fusion but later found Shapr 3D which is really, really easy to use. I’ll keep sharing my progress here. But it’s been fun so far. AMA

Hello everyone, if you’re new here, welcome.

You might be wondering what is compa. It an open platform for everyone on campus for everyone to talk about anything, find (and share) upcoming events around campus, sell or buy stuff, view your timetable, start or join communities and so much more.

I’d recommend you spend a few minutes exploring this app and don’t be shy to participate in anything. No harm will come to you. If you have questions, you can text me on 0247812093 (Gr)

Hello everyone, here’s our whatsapp community link: https://chat.whatsapp.com/J2ohombiKC25KjHMobvNKO

This will be used to share updates and notices. We will still use this place for long-form discussions.

print(hello everyone 👋🏽)

Welcome to this community. My name is De-Great, but you can call me Gr. I have been programming for 9years+. I have built a lot of apps and tools and solved numerous problems I’ve lost count of. See my website: https://degreat.co.uk

I created this community to introduce a culture of competitive programming in our university. For the majority of us who may ask what this is: Competitive programming is about writing small algorithms (aka programs) that may form part of bigger software systems. It’s about coming up with solutions that are performant and preferred over ad-hoc counterparts.

How would you rate your papers for last sem?

For me, I thought we were welcomed. The pains may begin next sem.

Next sem I also intend to start a Climate and recycling campaign. I can’t do this alone. So if you’re interested or know someone who shares some level of concern, please let me know.

The weather is getting hotter and hotter and it’s like we just say it and brush it off. Something needs done.

If I needed to start a club and need to use one of the classes plus the projectors, what do I need to do?

@pnlarbi, the events page is not the right place to share timetable for exam.

You could create a PDF with the timetable and also create a calendar with https://ical.marudot.com/ And attach the file to a post.

Can anyone solve this? I’m interested in how you do it. You can add a photo to your comment showing how you did it.

xx+5<1\frac{x}{x+5}<1

What is xx or the possible values/intervals of xx?

When learning to create websites, as a beginner, it may be unclear where to start from. In this post, I’ll like to share what I’ve learned over the years and how to produce good looking sites with enough content.

This is an exciting news for me 🙂. I hope it’s an exciting one for you too.

Markdown is fully SUPPORTED now. You can add codeblocks, blockquotes, bold and italics text, links and more. You can even add math equations like this:

L=12ρv2SCLL = \frac{1}{2} \rho v^2 S C_L

Finally, we can tag our discussions with one or more programmes, levels or course. This will help identify which discussions you’re interested in or attract the attention of the right people.

Like this post, I’ve tagged level 100 to 400. In the next few updates there’ll be the ability to filter discussions based on these filters.

Wishing you all the best 🙋🏽‍♂️

Hey everyone 👋🏽,

You can call me GR. I’m the moderator for KNUST compa and I’m happy to announce the launch of the discussions feature for compa. This feature will open up lots of opportunities for collaboration among students and invite very interesting and diverse opinions from everyone.

With every interaction, you can attach an image, document or even voice recordings. How sweet 🍬?! And this is just the beginning. I can’t wait to see what we can make of this.
