From what I know, getting rooms with audio-visuals are not permitted anymore, at least for the college of engineering.

There are some spaces you would have to pay to host an event (auditoriums and labs sometimes), but if you want to have meetings you should probably have your own projector for a class that has no projector or microphone system inside.
