Since $x$ doesn’t have a solution under the inequality, we can find the possible values for $x$ such that the fraction on the left-hand side exists to make the inequality hold, and that would be finding the values of $x$ that would make it undefined.

ie, $x + 5 < 0$
$x < -5$
